Sunimal’s story begins with his family. He explains how he had to work overseas due to financial issues. He talks about studying up to his A/L examination and not having any sex education. Sunimal then recalls how he came to know that he was HIV positive. He told his family about this and talks about his dreams fading away. He says that his conditioned worsened due to a lack of understanding about the HIV virus. But with the right knowledge and the doctors’ help he began to live a normal life. Today, Sunimal advises those who are affected by the HIV virus and works at an organisation for HIV prevention. He also owns a small business.
